Sono moved into the cell, his eyes were vacant and he was shaking. Blood was dripping on the floor from where he'd clawed his own wrist open and his mouth had blood on it from his chewing his wrist. The little blonde didn't even look up to see if Rufus was there, he just collapsed onto the bloody floor, eyes wide.

At the sight Rufus just jumped from his bunk, stumbling slightly and lifting Sono into his lap. He bit slightly at his lip before pulling off his shirt and tying the sleeve tightly around his friend’s wrist. "Sono, what happened...?"

Sono merely shook against Rufus, eyes blinking quickly. He opened his mouth to speak but only managed a gasp and a whimper. His healthy hand held Rufus's wrist tightly.

He cradled the boy to his chest and sighed. "I'm bringing you to the infirmary."

"NO!" His voice was sharp and he clung to Rufus, most likely covering him in blood. "No, Ryu is there. I hurt Ryu. Ryu hates me. I broke him. I broke him." He cried into Rufus, speaking quickly and quietly.

He hesitated a moment before putting the boy on his bunk and tightening the makeshift bandage. "If you pass out I'm bringing you there. Weather you want it or not."

He blinked up at Rufus and sighed shakily. "Y-You hate me too, right?" The shirt on his wrist was working to stop the flow of blood leaking from his skin.

"I could never hate you. You're the only friend I have, everyone else is an employee." He mumbled, leaning down to kiss the boy’s forehead. "You're precious to me, believe it or not."

Sono let tears run down his face. "Ryu hates me. Shuya says he doesn't but he probably does. Reno hates me. I should just disappear. I won't hurt anyone else then."

"Reno's just mad because you had me first." He says softly, kneeling by the boy’s bed and holding his hand. "And Ryu...You can't tell if someone hates you unless you go there yourself. You need to see him again."

"B-but...he'd never speak to me. I don't...I don't want to go alone." Sono shivered and held Rufus's hand as if he was holding a parent's hand.

"If you did something to hurt him so badly, then he has to hold you close to his heart, he’ll listen and talk to you." He said carefully, lightly petting at the cold skin.

Sono curled up more and looked at Rufus properly. "I love you. And I know now that it's a friend love. And I apologise for what I did. But I don't know how to make amends to Ryu. K-Kashe would stop me..." His eyes closed as he became dizzy then.

"It was fine, I didn't mind." He mumbled before picking up the smaller male again, holding him close and moving carefully. "If you really regret what you did wrong, he'll know, but if you don't care then convince him it was nothing bad." He said softly, slipping quietly into the infirmary.

Sono was able to make out that he was being carried but he didn't realise where to. He was curled up in Rufus's arms as they entered the infirmary, barely conscious now.

He set the younger man down, moving carefully for the nurses and watching as they moved over. He glanced around after a moment before looking at the other small inmate, frowning. That was the boy that had Sono so messed up.

The nurses worked quickly on Sono, giving him a blood transfusion as he'd lost a lot. He was half conscious and his eyes lingered on Rufus before they found Ryu. "...Ry-ui...ki..."

"He's definitely a pretty one Sono..." He says softly, looking from his room mate to Ryuiki. The boy was drugged by now, limp and breathing easily. Very gently Rufus presses a hand to his forehead, brushing the bangs out of his eyes.

Sono was gradually regaining his conscious mind as morphine was slowly pumped into his body to sedate him. "Ryu...love...you..." he mumbled out, not knowing that the teen probably couldn't hear him. Sono had his wrist put in a splint to keep it from bending and he, too, was strapped to his bed, the nurses fearing he would also attempt to harm himself again.

He leaned down then, knowing a little about how the subconscious mind works. "Sono loves you." He whispered softly into the boy’s ear, cupping the side of his face. "You won't die on him. Don't hurt him anymore."

He stared at the two males. His body was numb from the medication. "Rufus...please, if you're my friend...just get rid of me. I don't want to hurt Ryu anymore." His voice was slow and he was struggling to concentrate.

He sighed, moving over to his friend again and kissing his forehead. "Sono, you're my friend. I'm not going to kill you, if you don't want to hurt Ryu anymore than dying is a bad way to start it." He chuckles slightly, moving down and kissing the wrist. "I won't let either of you die."

He stared up at the ceiling, vacant and breathing laboriously. "Ryu...or Kashe...if you're in there...I'm sorry. And when we're all better, you can hurt me however you want to, Kashe." He looked at Rufus then. "If you want me alive, you've got some hard work coming your way."

"I'm good at hard work." He said simply, smiling happily at his cellmate. "I'm in love with Reno, and you're the only friend I've ever had. Sex is just a positive pull on the side."

He tilted his head, tugging at his strapped down wrists. "I wish...I wish Reno did not hate me too. If you love him and you're my friend, I want to be his friend too." He shivered, still speaking very slowly. "I need a friend now."

"He doesn't hate you, I already said that. He's just mad that you got me first." He rolled his eyes slightly, running a hand though the blonde’s hair. "He's childish."

Sono nuzzled into that hand slightly. "Then why does he look at me like he wants me dead?" He looked over at Ryu and sighed. "I'm childish. And selfish."

"He thinks you're still after my ass." He said easily, scratching gently at his cheek with his free hand. "Just tell him you're not, and I'm sure he'll be fine with it."

Sono nodded, blinking to keep his eyes open. But he couldn’t. He just closed them and let out a soft breath. Falling unconscious to the medication.
