Irvine sat at the felt covered card table in the recreation room, his worn deck of playing cards laying in front of him. he leaned back in the metal chair, looking around. the room was a little busy, mostly around the television and pool table, but neither one interested him. he looked around, and finally, getting some nerve, pulled the burning cigarette from his mouth, speaking loudly as he exhaled. "HEY! Any of you NOT afraid of losing a little bit of money? Come on!" he laughed a bit, pulling the burning paper and filter to his mouth for another drag, looking around with mock-arrogance. He had to find a way to pass the time besides chain smoking.
