WHO: Kain, Mutou
WHAT: Talking
WHERE: Mutou's office
WHEN: afternoon?
RATING: PG-13?
Kain had heard what happened. He was concerned, for many reasons. He was now making his way to the warden's office. He had found a break in his schedule and decided to drop by. He lifted a hand and knocked gently on Mutou's office door.
Mutou sighs a little when the knock is heard and sets his tea down on the desk. "Come in," he calls, leaning back in his chair.
Kain opened the door and walked, looking perfectly flawless as usual. He offered a friendly smile. "I've noticed you've been upset and decided to come and see how you are." He said shutting the door behind him and walking forward to the empty chair.
Mutou watches Kain cross the room with a shake of his head. "I'm fine. Thank you for your concern."
Kain tilted his head slightly to the side, "I think we both know that's not true," He spoke in japanese, "It's not good to deny what you're feeling." He sat down in the chair at looked at Mutou with concern.
Mutou switches to Japanese as well. "I'm not denying anything. I know what my feelings are. That doesn't mean I'm not fine."
"What I mean is, you should talk about it. for instantance, why are you upset?"
Mutou frowns, picking up his tea again. "I don't need to talk about it. You know what happened, I'm sure you were told. I've handled it and am trying to move on. But with certain people constantly comming by my office and now you wanting to 'talk', I am having a hard time doing so."
Kain silent for a moment and he gracefully moved a piece of hair from his eyes, "I only want to help. Unfortunately, I'm used to doing so by other means. But it would be usless for me to do so for you. We both already know what it you desire and we both know that cannot be. So if I help you in the way I am used to, it would only reopen your wounds and make you even more depressed. Just know that I am here if you ever need me. Not as your employee but as your friend."
Mutou sighs heavily then smiles a little for Kain. "I know. And I appreciate it. I think right now I just need to seperate myself from some things for a while and try to mend things."
Kain shook his head, "By staying ion your office all day? And when you do mend things and you see him again, what then? Will you stay mended or will all of your old feelings and emotions rush back to the surface?"
"I do my job. I don't need to be out and about in the prison to do that." He shifts in his chair, wanting more tea. "I don't plan on seeing him anymore. I've told him to stay away from me."
"Well then, it looks like you have everything all figured out."
Mutou lowers his eyes. "Yeah. All figured out."
"Then I guess you don't need me anymore." Kain said and moved to leaved.
Mutou taps a finger on his empty tea cup. "Kain?" He waits for the therapist to pause. "Thanks for coming by. Really."
Kain turned and glanced at the tea cup, "Try brew your tea with a couple St. John's Wort leaves. It will help with the depression." He paused, "And if you ever need me for anything, just page me." He paused again, "And I do mean anything."
Mutou smiles. "Thank you."
