It was break time finally and Dee wasn't one to waste time that he could spend being lazy. Sitting in one of the miss matched chairs in the guard's breakroom, he leaned back a bit, putting his legs up on the table. No one was in there right now except for him, which was kind of nice, as he didn't know any of the other guards yet and wasn't in the mood to make nice with them. He just wanted to chill for the half hour break he got. Correction, what he really wanted to do was hunt Ryo down where ever he was in the facility and see his beautiful face, but that would mean getting up from his chair... which he wasn't up to right now. He'd see Ryo later, waiting to see that face of his a little longer would only make it more gratifying later on.
Ryo felt a bit of a chill as he headed down to take a break, and rubbed at his arms lightly. That couldn't be a good sign right? But, it could be a simple chill, too. Shrugging, he continued on. He knew Dee was working there now, had followed him by a few days, but he hadn't yet seen his face, which was probably just as well. That guy had been at it the last few nights, and Ryo was just too busy with some of Bikky's stuff to even bother, which meant the hornball was probably near exploding. When that happened... Well, Bikky couldn't barge in and rescue him here. Carefully, he opened the door to the breakroom... And just as quickly wanted to shut it. '...Oh man...'
It seemed lady luck was on his side today, as it was bringing Ryo right to him. So he could enjoy being lazy still and see Ryo at the sametime. Perfect. "Just the person I was thinking about." Dee grinned, wondering if Ryo was on break now too. How much better could it get? "So sexy how's your day been?" he asked, knowing he'd probably get a scolding look for the 'sexy' comment, since they were at work and not at home.
'Don't slam the door... Don't slam the door...' Ryo managed to get his way inside and shut the door without a sound, before black eyes turned darkly to Dee and his commentary. He just *knew* the man was going to say something like that. Even when they'd worked at the 27th Precint, he would make remarks like that, in public, with everyone around. "It's been fine. No huge fights today." Ryo replied as he went to fetch something to drink from a mini-fridge that the room so convieniently held. "Yours?"
Dee only smirked at the looked Ryo gave him, use to it by now. He didn't understand why he got so bent out of shape over it. No one was in here besides them, and even if he did say it around anyone else here it would only certify that Ryo was his and no one elses. Besides he was sure half if not more of the inmates here were playing drop the soap, so it wouldn't matter if they heard it. Their fellow guards well... if they didn't like it too bad. "Not bad not bad, though it's much better now that I've gotten to see you today." he said, dropping his legs from the table to get up from his chair. Moving up behind Ryo as he moved to get something from the small fridge, Dee placed a hand behind his back against the wall, leaning a little close. "Miss me?" he smiled, "Cause I know I've been missing you baby."
Ryo almost dropped what he was pulling out of the fridge, and gave Dee a little look. He had already knelt over, and with Dee posistioned like that, he had to move sideways in order to stand straight up. Opening the soda, he looked seriously at Dee. "We saw each other on the way to work, like, four hours ago. Why would I miss you that much?" Yes, Ryo loved Dee to hell, but there were times and places for everything, something the big oaf often forgot. Work was not one of those places, or times, you went about announcing to the world how gay you were... Well, okay, Dee was bi, but that didn't change the point! He moved to sit on one of the chairs.
Dee pouted, "I'm hurt Ryo..." he feigned being upset, but quickly moved to follow Ryo back to the table. Parking his rear on the table he watched his lover for a moment, wondering what he could get away with. They were alone... maybe a kiss or two would be possible without Ryo going apeshit on him for trying things. "So... are we gonna be able to have some private time for us tonight after work? I miss being able to relax and be with you... without the monkey brat bothering us." Dee wrinkled his nose at the mention of Bikky, a.k.a. monkey brat. He loved the kid to death, but sometimes he made it impossible to be with Ryo alone. Even just to watch movie or something harmless like that...
Ryo brushed a hand through his chestnut hair as he was asked about Bikky. What were the boy's plan for that evening? "I think he's staying at Carol's tonight, her aunt okayed it so it's supervised. They're supposed to study. His last math grade was a D. Better than an F, but..." Ryo sighed and took a drink of soda, before looking at Dee. "You can come stay the night if you want, but what about extra clothes? We'll have to stop at your place for them."
Dee shook his head, granted he hadn't been an A student when he was younger either, but Bikky had Ryo to help him with his studies a lot so it was annoying to see the kid still get such grades. He knew it bothered Ryo too, since of course Ryo worried about being a good role model for Bikky, which of course he was. "You know it'd be so much easier if we just moved into together... then we wouldn't have to stop at my place to get stuff." he hinted, pulling a cigarette out of his pocket to light it. He'd promised he'd start smoking less, so this was only his first cig of the day. Dee was quite proud of himself for it.
"I don't think Bikky would go for that, Dee." Ryo smiled at the dark-haired man affectionately. He wasn't opposed to Dee staying with them, the apartment was large enough, and so was Ryo's bed, but Bikky was the problem. "He's still not quite at the point he can accept the fact we're intimate. Getting better about it, but not quite there." Out of some habit or another, Ryo reached across to grab the lighter Dee kept and struck it, holding it up to light Dee's cigarette. "What number is this for today?"
Dee frowned, the cig in his mouth pointing down with along with his downward expression. Bikky, Bikky, Bikky! Sometimes he hated how much Ryo pamered that kid. It wouldn't kill Bikky to have something he didn't like in his life. "I could always semi-live there... you know like stay there one week, then next week stay at my place." Dee said, of course knowing even that would be too much for Bikky, or the brat would say it was. Bikky just didn't like sharing Ryo's attention with him, little punk. Leaning forward a bit to meet the flame Ryo held up for him, Dee smirked around the cigarette in his mouth. "Number uno baby, aren't you proud of me?" Dee was rather proud of himself, but it would mean much more hearing the praise coming from Ryo.
Ryo gently let the lighter go out after the cigarette was lit, and couldn't help but let a gentle smile cross his face. "Not bad at all, Mr. Laytner." He placed the lighter back into Dee's pocket, giving a gentle kiss to the other man's cheek, before sitting back onto the couch, and looked seriously at Dee. "Let's try weekends. Then he'll have at least the excuse to run out if he wants."
The cigarette almost fell out of his mouth when Ryo placed that soft kiss to his cheek. Ryo showing affection like that in a public place? Was he ill? Granted no one was around, but it was far and few in between when Ryo did things like this. Dee enjoyed the small moment while he could. "Sounds good to me," he then paused to think of something, switching the cig to one side of his mouth, "Uh... so can I still stay over tonight?" Dee asked, since it wasn't a weekend day yet, and since Ryo had said he could he was looking forward to it now. Plus he just missed being able to have another body to cuddle up against in bed, after a lovely night of love making. Waking up with Ryo lying next to him in the morning was always a treat too. Dee couldn't wait till the day he could have that every morning.
Ryo just smiled at Dee, his eyes taking on more of their Asian look as he did so. "I already told you that staying tonight is fine." He drank from his soda again, and thought quietly to himself for a few moments, before looking at Dee. "There's some interesting people down here, isn't there?"
Dee loved seeing that beautiful face smiling at him, it was better than anything in the world. "Good cause I miss seeing that warm smile of yours when I wake up in the morning." Dee smiled back, watching Ryo silently as the other seemed to be thinking. He shrugged at the question, not really having delt with many of the inmates that closely yet. He'd certainly heard things about some of them which made him wonder about people now a days, but this was a prision so it really didn't surprise him how odd some of the inmates were. "What do you expect Ryo? This is a place full of the worst kind of people, killers and the like. There's bound to be plenty of loonies in here."
Although Ryo didn't mention Dee's initial comment about waking up next to him, a small flush which crept onto his cheeks would be more than enough to tell Dee he hadn't minded the comment at all. Ryo himself enjoyed waking up with Dee nearby, it felt safe and secure. He then chuckled at Dee's remarks. "That's true. The problem is figuring out the different sorts of people who are down here I suppose."
A knowing smile crossed his features seeing that flush. It was so easy to read Ryo sometimes, well most of the time really. Shrugging Dee pulled his cig from his mouth to blow smoke out, "They're all the same to me really. They're here for a reason and that's because they're a danger to society, not people I'd like to be friends with." the cig found it's place back in his mouth, but he kept talking, "Though there are certainly a few special ones, and not in a good way mind you!" Dee said remembering some earlier in the day he'd seen. "Like for example, there's these guys that are in the same cell, look exactly alike. But they have white hair... like real white hair, it's fucking weird. Some of the other guys were saying they were possessed or part demon... or some nonsense like that." Dee said, of course not believing it. Demons didn't really exist, though there were people who were horrible enough to be deamed them.
Ryo found himself chuckling again. Demons? Well, he supposed that people had to make things up to suit themselves sometimes, and white hair wasn't typically a natural color, but at the same time, it was not an unheard of hair color either. "The only ones I've met have ranged from seemingly okay to flat-out wanting to cause trouble." He finished the soda he had been drinking, and fiddled with the tab on the can. "But, even though they all have done some bad things, we still have to treat them like people."
Huffing Dee waved a hand, "Yeah yeah I know..." personally some of the criminals he'd met he'd like to put out of their misery and save the world the hassel of having to deal with them, but then again it wasn't right for him to just kill people like that. Not that he would... but with some people it was just too tempting. Out of things to talk about Dee was quiet, listening to the sound of Ryo amusing himself with the tab of his soda can, before he looked over at him, gazing at his lover. He could do it all day, for no reason what so ever, just stare at Ryo. It could never bore him either. Leaning down from his seat on top of the table, Dee went in for a surprise kiss attack, wanting at least one good mouth on mouth lip locking smooch before getting off break. Even if it would mean Ryo getting upset at him for doing it at work, it would be worth it.
Yeah, Dee knew alright, but it hadn't stopped him from causing some massive damage in the past. And he had almost killed that one guy when Mother had been hurt. Thankfully Ryo had been able to stop him that time, but he knew how Dee's temper was, and knew if the guy was pushed far enough he could be about as bad as most the inmates down here, or at least he could imagine it. Letting a hand brush his cheek softly where the wound from stopping Dee that time had been, and was now long-since gone, he was caught off guard as ever by his partner's movements, and found himself startled as warm lips met his own.
He loved how he always seemed to catch his lover when he wasn't paying attention. Which was usually pretty easy to do. Dee knew that he'd get a talking to after this, or later on, but he didn't care. Ryo could get upset at him all he wanted, but in the end he couldn't deny that he enjoyed it too. Anyway, no one was in here but them so it was safe enough. Pushing his tongue into Ryo's mouth, Dee moved his touge against the lovers, trying to coax it out enough to play a little. The one hand that wasn't holding his cigarette, moved to hold the back of Ryo's head gently, fingers running through the light brown hair at the back of his neck.
Although Ryo wouldn't deny that Dee's kissing was incredibly good, and incredibly skilled, he would also not deny that Dee pulled said kisses at quite inappropriate times on a frequent basis. That said, his own hands came up, but not to grab Dee, instead to gently push him away. "Dee..." His voice was lightly scolding as he broke enough of the kiss to get words out.
Trying his best not to pout, Dee was good and didn't go back for another kiss. His fingers moved to brush hair from his lover's eyes smiling appologetically. "Sorry babe... can't help it sometimes." he sat back, and put his cig out in the small ash tray in the middle of the table. "Besides..." he smirked then, "You never just get this huge urge to give me a big smooch?"
Ryo glared at Dee for that. "Unlike you, I can control my urges, Dee."
"Aw come on, not even once?" Dee teased, moving to stand from the table. His break was just abot done, he'd have to get back to work, sadly.
"TPL, Dee." The black eyes which looked at Dee would almost look angry, if it wasn't for the fact that Randy had a bit of a playful look in them. "Time, Place, Location. None of which we have right now for this discussion." Standing, he tossed his can into the trashcan which was provided for them. "But I won't deny I have urges, I am a man after all. However, this is not the place to discuss it."
So Ryo was saying he had thought about him during work, enough to want to do certain things? Or was he just taking that the wrong way? "So when we get to your place tonight we can talke about it then?" Dee smirked, "I'd love to know the things that go through that mind of yours, especially when you see me in this sexy uniform!" the younger male winked, not able to help but continue his usual ways. Sadly he didn't have the time to keep talking, and moved towards the door to the break room, "But that's for later. I'll be seeing you later babe." Dee winked suggestively, chuckling after not able to help it as he left to go work the rest of his shift.
Ryo muttered softly to himself. That guy was incoragable.
