Sword woke up and shifted a little trying to get more comfortable. He ended up having to settle for sitting up a bit. It wasn't like he needed to lay down anymore anyway. He had been sleeping on his back all night, it his back hurt him slightly from it. He tried to recall the events from last night, but was having trouble doing so. Though one thing stand out clearly in his mind as if it had just happened seconds before.

It was his mom. She was calling to him and then held him a motherly embrace, before telling him he couldn't cross over. She wouldn't allow it, and that he had better get back into his body this instant. He chuckled slightly at the memory. All these years and she hadn't changed a bit. At least not from what he remembered.

Sword furrowed his brow. Why did Sen move to other side. He looked up at Sen, "What?" He said and took a sip of the water and held up the glass, "Thanks by the way." The water felt good going down. He fully enjoyed the feeling of the wet substance washing over his extremely dry throat. But it unfortunately didn't do anything for his voice. It still sounded as if his voice was put through a blender. It did help with the soreness though.

Sen let out a soft sigh of relieve when Sword looked at him, he cupped his hand on Sword's cheek, leaning in to kiss the man's forehead. "Nothing, I just wanted to see your face is all."

He took the empty glass from Sword and returned to his seat.

Sword raised an eye brow, "And you had switch sides to do that?" He asked confused, looking down at his lap with interest. He then thought of another question, "Why are you here? I mean I thought they didn't allow visitors."

Sen shrugged his shoulders. "Well... I came to be with you, of course! After all, I couldn't leave you in that state all by yourself... well that, and I cut my foot on broken glass."

He took hold of Sword's hand again. "I should have gone back to the cell last night, but I didn't want to leave you."

Sword looked up at Sen, "So the guards just let you come with me? And then let you stay the night? That's weird..." He said as if he hadn't heard the part about Sen's foot. Or as if Sen hadn't said it at all. He shrugged, "I guess we shouldn't question it though."

"I think they knew they'd have to either sedate me or drag me out kicking and screaming... So left me where I was." he smiled soft, giving Sword's hand a gentle squeeze.

Sword nodded and looked back to his lap. He suddenly forgot why he was nodding, "Wait. Why would they have to sedate you? Where were you? Sen you didn't do anything stupid did you?"

Sen frowned a little. "I was by your side, Sword. The whole time. I've been on my best behaviour... although if I see that doctor again, I may just hit him."

He lay his head on the bed near Sword's hip, smiling soft. "I love you."

Sword felt something dangling from his wrist. His other hand went to it and felt it. He smiled, it was the cross his mother gave him. He took it off his wrist and put it around his neck, fingers lingering on the cross. The events that happened that night with his mother rushing back to him.

Sen smiled at Sword again. "I hope she kicked your ass for being such an idiot." He teased, running a finger over the cross.

"Don't you dare do anything that stupid again, okay?" He warned, before his eyes softened and that smile returned. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Sword chuckled, "She just about did. What can I say? She's very much a black women." He laughed a bit, "She uh... likes you though." He said with a bit of sad smile.
