He looked back, ready to just crawl out of his skin with the mention of his name. Bridget wasn't even remotely masculine, but what else could he do? He couldn't change it...no, not if he wanted to see his mum and dad again, or his brother.
"Yeah...thanks." He muttered, then caught his eye looking at him. The eighteen year old tried not to blush, it was common for guys to look at him like that, but in a prison, it was doubly worse. This place was full of rapists. That didn't sit well on his stomach.
"I-If you are wondering...that's my name." He frowned. "My family thought it would be better to raise me as a girl...I have a twin and there's a belief that twin boys will bring bad luck on the family. So...they tried to hide the fact." He didn't know why he was explaining it, but he needed to justify a little bit.
