Sen couldn't believe he was having something else blamed on him. First Kuja's incident and now Vergil's? He'd tried to run things legit - but it seemed someone just had a problem with him. The whole thing reeked of conspiracy and he had a damn good idea where the blame lay.

Why the Hell would he have Vergil attacked? It made no sense, he barely even knew the man and he certainly didn't have any problems with him. He walked to Ky's office, knocked and simply walked straight in. "You wanted to see me?"

Ky gave a light sigh. Obviously, the matter had been weighing heavily on his mind. However, as much as evidence thus far pointed to Sen as the culprit, and as much as he would love to get the entire thing sorted away, it was important that he understand the situation fully before punishing anyone. Justice demanded fairness.

"I can't be sure of motives, " the young guard replied patiently. "And I can't be sure whether or not you're simply lying to me." He paused, brushing stray blond hair out of his face. "Tell me who you think reported you to me, and tell me why they would want to frame you. And if there's anyone outside of your... Gang who will vouch for you, I'd like to know their names."

Blue eyes narrowed faintly, calculating and thoughtful. As a matter of fact, it had been Sword who had reported Sen's name to him, and now that he thought about it, the matter was rather suspicious. Of course, the story seemed a little far fetched, but possible. Elaborate was the word, perhaps. Still, he didn't really put too much on Norman or Ryuiki's word, having had brief interactions with them both. And Vergil was still gravely injured, as far as he knew. It was a difficult situation.

"So, you're saying this is revenge out of jealousy, " the blond clarified, trying not to feel more used than he already had. If Sen was telling the truth, then Sword had a lot of nerve to lie to him then be intimate with him. Of course, Ky knew no one was to blame but himself.

"I think... I think I'll have to talk to some parties who aren't biased between you and Sword. Hwoarang is close with Vergil, is he not?" He wrote a memo to himself. "All right. I'll laeve a note for those willing to vouch for you to do so." A pause. "If there's anything else I might need to know... Now is the time. I'd rather not find out from someone else, and I've heard you have a habit of taking punishment into your own hands."

"Well, all of you will have to learn to play by my rules, " the young Cheif Guard replied curtly. "You and Sword especially." It was ridiculous to the point of being stupid. A man's life and blood was not worth something so immature as jealousy or a love affair. But of course, these were, after all, murderers. Maybe Ky was expecting too much.

He sighed before going on, weariness briefly touching his voice. "I'm aware that there is deep corruption in our organization and that many of the staff members are involved. I'm also aware that several groups are doing their own drug trafficking, and it will be dealt with accordingly. As the shut-call, I imagine you do a little drug trafficking of your own."

"Sen, " Ky answered tiredly after a beat, running long fingers through golden hair in a stressed gesture. "You're in prison for murder. And you are pleading your non-violent nature to me while agreeing that you punished two men. I want to work with you here, I honestly do. I don't want to punish anybody, but to keep the order..."

He sighed, going on. "I don't want any repeats of the incident with Franks and Morton. You're expressly forbidden to harm anyone, unless in your own self-defense. If someone has wronged someone else, you're free to report it to me, and I will deal with it accordingly, okay?" He rubbed at one blue eye wearily. "I'm more worried about the violence than the drugs, and I know you won't listen to me if I ask you to stop... So for now, I want your word you'll do as I asked, and if I find out you've done anything contrary, solitary will be the least of your worries."

And likewise, if he found out that Sword had been lying to him and was responsible for Vergil's injuries, his wrath would be far more than a few days in the Villa.

Ky offered a small smile at Sen's reply, pleased with it. "You have a lot of nerve, to bargain with the Cheif Guard, " the blond replied, but in good-nature, rather than annoyance. This session had gone a lot more easily than he thought it would, though new complications had arisen. He would have to sort this matter with Sword, Sen, and Vergil as soon as possible. "I'll do what I can to protect Mr. Hayes, but I can promise anything if there's any breaking of the rules."

Ky just let out a stressed sigh, unconsciously mimicking Sen by running his slender fingers through his own blond hair, a habit of weariness.

"For your sake, I hope you're right, " the young guard replied. "First impressions told me you weren't a bad person, and I was disappointed to have your name mentioned to me at all... But if what you say is true, and I've been lied to, believe me when I say there isn't a punishment harsh enough for your accuser. As for Mr. Hayes, I can only promise to do my best. I can't promise my personal protection all the time, but... I'll send guards I trust to watch him when I can't, if you find that suitable."
