He slumped back in the chair, blowing a lock of hair out of his eyes. He folded his legs, before resting his elbow on the chair arm, resting his hand on it. "I think it was Sword. He's pissed and he's trying to get back at me. See... we had this whole plan to get these guys off his case - Reno and Hwoarang - I think their names were. We planned this big break up and set up a stabbing incident - that went very wrong and almost killed Sword."
He paused, taking a breath, thinking over the words. "In UGH... if you show weakness - you lose power... so by overpowering Sword his men would have turned on him - so I did the only logical thing I could thing of and took his position as Shut-Call. Well... that pissed him off enough, until I explained I'd give the job back when he was better."
"However, when he found out I'd slept with another man he ended our relationship and is now determined to really destroy me as shut-call." He frowned. "As for people vouching for me - take your pick - Norman, Squall, Ryu, Kain. How about Vergil? Have you even asked him about the incident?"
