This time he really did give his loud laugh, letting the sound echo through the showers and lighten the mood considerably. That was probably what he liked best about Zell: his ability to make Seifer honestly laugh, not just the mocking kind of laugh. It was especially a good thing when Zell was being funny on purpose. The guy had a really good sense of humor. Seifer was getting curious about what Zell would consider to be "punishment". Something to look forward to while they patched up in the infirmary.

"Poor hand's had a rough time of it," he said sympathetically. He would've liked to kiss it, but it would hurt Zell more than help him, so he carefully kissed the fingers instead. Yes, he agreed it was much better than any extra holes being added to Zell's face. Seifer liked his face just the way it was. "Ugh," Seifer cringed, wrinkling his nose. "I hope not. I don't want anything on my pretty little bird. I might have to give you a scrub-down just to make sure." He was kidding, of course, but giving Zell a sponge bath was not such a bad idea. Seifer moved and tried to discreetly pick up a knife without the medics noticing. Naturally, he and Zell were told to get to the infirmary. Not such a bad idea, since they would both probably pass out from the blood loss if they didn't hurry up.

Seifer wouldn't say or do anything in front of those medics, so he guided Zell along out of the showers and down in the direction of the infirmary. He stopped when they were a safe distance from the medics. "One thing before I forget, okay?" He swooped down unexpectedly and pressed a kiss on Zell's lips. His hand had to tilt back Zell's head a little to make up for their height difference. He pulled back, that cocky smirk resurfacing on his lips. "Better," he purred. As if kissing Zell made up for the mess they made and the pain in their bodies. Which... it kind of did.
