Who: Sen, Open
When: Lunch time
Where: Cafeteria
What: Sen gets promoted
Rating: TBA
It was his first day out of Solitary, though in truth he'd only spent a few hours there before Kain took him out, where he spent the week in Kain's office, and of course that one secret trip to the surface.
He'd been a little worried when he returned to Level 3. Visions of being attacked by Sword's men or other inmates for his actions laid heavy on his mind. Although, in fact he'd been approached by Sword's men and told since he'd been the one to take Sword down, then he should take the place of Shutcall. He knew it would be wise in the long run - keep Sword's throne warm for him - but it showed just how unloyal people in UGH were, instantly turning their backs on one for someone seen stronger.
He sat at the table where Sword usually sat, surrounded by those men, that he guessed for the time being were now his men. It was certainly a strange feeling.

"Which one of you calls yourself the shut-call?"

Date: 2007-05-06 03:40 pm (UTC)"That would be. Something I can help you with?" He asked, voice almost lazy.

Date: 2007-05-06 03:52 pm (UTC)"My name is Ky Kiske, " the blonde introduced himself with habitual politeness. "I've been appointed the Cheif Guard here, and I understand that prisoners are under the impression that the shut-call runs things around here." He pursed full lips briefly. "I want to make it clear that I don't care who you are-- I expect you to follow the rules."
Such were the thoughts of an idealistic boy, who believed in justice, who believed in only good and evil.

He lay his fork back down then, turning to face the man more fully. "You have nothing to worry about. I have no intentions of stepping on your toes."

Date: 2007-05-06 04:09 pm (UTC)The young police captain's blue eyes seemed to lose some of their hard edge at Sen's statement, however. "I appreciate your cooperation, ah..." He paused, the openly thoughtful look on his face complimenting his boyish features far more than the stern one ever had. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."

Date: 2007-05-06 04:31 pm (UTC)"Sen, " the young guard echoed, as if saying the name to remember it. "I have to admit that went better than I thought it would." Another light smile. "I hope you'll continue to observe the rules." Then a pause. "Are there any prisoners I should be particularly aware of? Trouble-makers?"

Date: 2007-05-06 04:40 pm (UTC)He frowned a little. "Aren't youa little young to be a guard?" Most the other guards were older, and a hell of a lot uglier. "Better watch yourself, unless you want to made into a toy by some of the animals here."

Date: 2007-05-06 04:46 pm (UTC)Then, more gently: "I appreciate the warning. But I assure you, I can take care of myself." He paused again, considering Sen for a moment, watching him with thoughtfulness. It was hard to think that the prisoners here would actually lay hands on the Cheif Guard, but he wouldn't put it past them. "If you ever have concerns, I hope you'll come and address then with me."

Date: 2007-05-06 05:16 pm (UTC)At the other man's words about concerns, he gave a lazy salute. "Will do, Chief."

Date: 2007-05-06 08:28 pm (UTC)"I appreciate your time, " the blond guard responded at length. "Hopefully, the next time I see you, it won't be a matter of discipline." He offered a small smile, then turned to go.
