Who: Sen & Sword
When: Evening
Where: The Showers
What: Talking
Rating: There’s a little nakedness but that’s all.

Sen made his way towards the showers, he yawned, a frown firmly planted on his face. He paused when he saw some of Sword's men guarding the door. "What's going on?" He asked, tilting his head.

"Nothing. Sword's showering," One of them replied.

"You'll have to come back later" The other said.

"Why can't I just go in and join him?" Sen asked, frowning more. "Has he got someone in with him?"

"No. Said he didn't want to be disturbed."

"I'll risk it. Let me in."

"Boss said no one is to disturb him."

"And I said I'll risk it. Come on, let me in, worst he'll do is kill me."

"Sen. Quit your whinin' and get in here..." Sword's voice came from within.

Sen gave Sword's men a half-smirk and slipped past them into the shower room.

Sword stood under the spray of water facing the wall.

Sen stripped out of his clothes and moved to stand behind Sword, slipping his arms around the man's waist, kissing his shoulder. "Hi."

"Whadda you want?"

"Nice welcome." Sen kept his arms around Sword. "How was your day?"

Sword shrugged and put his face under the spray.

Sen pressed kisses against the center of Sword's back, between his shoulder blades. "Killed anyone? Maimed anyone?"

"No."

"Really? I'm pleased." He smiled a little, resting his head against Sword's back. "So, what's with the guys at the door?"

Sword sighed, "I wanted to be alone."

"You want me to leave?" Sen asked, loosening his hold slightly.

"I don't care."

"Gee, way to make a guy feel wanted." Sen let go and moved to the next showerhead. "I heard about your friend. I'm sorry."

"What friend?"

"The one on the surface." Sen replied, soaking his hair under the water.

"Who told you that I have a friend on the surface?"

"Does it matter who told me? You should have told me!"

"Who says it's true?"

"Isn't it?" Sen asked, adding shampoo to his hair.

"I don't know. You haven't told me what you were told."

"That they're in hospital." Sen replied, rinsing the suds from his locks.

"And?"

"Well... that's all I was told. But I guess you must be worried..."

Sword didn't say anything.

"Are they going to be okay?" Sen asked, looking at Sword.

"Does it matter?"

"Of course it does! They're your friend. You can't just turn your emotions off."

"I don't have emotions, remember?"

"So you'd like people to believe, but it's not true. You have feelings and emotions."

Sword glared at Sen.

Sen merely smiled back, taking hold of his wash cloth. "Turn around."

Sword sighed and turned to face Sen, "What?"

Sen lathered the ash cloth with soap and moved to start washing Sword's chest. "Just stop talking for five minutes."

Sword sighed and stood still.

Sen continued to wash Sword, before nudging his shoulder to get him to turn around again.

Sword gave another sigh and turned, "I can wash myself you know."

"No talking, remember?" Sen replied, washing Sword's shoulders.

Sword gave a frustrated growl, but said nothing more.

Sen washed lower, trailing kisses over the cleaned skin.

"Sen? What are you doing?"

"Washing your back, what'd you think I'm doing?"

"With kisses?"

"And soap!" Sen exclaimed, swiping the washcloth over Sword's ass as proof.

"Right......" He rolled his eyes.

Sen once more worked the washcloth down over Sword's ass, kissing his shoulder blade as he did.

"Sen....."

"No talking, remember?"

"Since when do I listen to you?"

"Since now." Sen replied, slicking his fingers with soap, spidering them down Sword's lower back.

"Maybe I don't want to stay quiet."

Sen slipped a finger along Sword's ass, resting his fingertip against his entrance. "No, you've never been good at being quiet."

Sword growled when he felt where Sen rested his finger, "Sen...." He said with warning in his voice.

Sen slipped his free hand around Sword's waist. "That is my name, yes." He said, nudging his finger just slightly.

"Back off."

"Why? Going to kill me?" He whispered, easing his finger in a little more.

Sword whirled around and punched Sen square in the face.

Sen stumbled back, slipping on the wet tiles. He held his face, glaring up at Sword.

"I told you to back. Off."

"I heard you." Sen replied, keeping his glare fixed on Sword, clicking his jaw.

"The why are glaring at me?"

"Because you punched me!"

"Because you didn't listen to me!"

"I was trying to make you feel good!" Sen replied from the floor.

"And I've told you before not to do that!"

"Why not?! It feels good, and it's a known fact it can help with... those ... problems!"

"I don't need help!"

"Oh? Magically fixed itself has it?" Sen asked angrily, getting to his feet.

"Fuck off!"

"I'll take that as a no, then, should I?"

Sword growled and turned his back on Sen.

Sen sighed and moved closer, resting a hand on Sword's back. "Just give me one chance to see if it helps?"

"No."

"Then see a doctor or Kain, or somebody!!"

"No!"

"So, what? You're just going to bury your head in the sand, ignore it and hope it goes away?"

"Sen, fuck off! I don't your advice."

"And you can't make use of my ass, so what exactly do you want me for?"

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"Well, if my ass and advice are no good to you, what is?"

"Do you really have to ask that?" He turned to face him.

Sen sighed, folding his arms across his chest. "Well the answer doesn't seem too clear right now."

"And why not?"

"It just seems like you have no use for me. So tell me, why keep me around?"

"You know why."

"Tell me."

"You know why!"

"Do I? Tell me." Sen repeated, eyes fixed on Sword's.

"I don't need to."

"Then how am I supposed to know?"

"Because you already know."

"How can you be so sure that I know?"

"Because I've already told you how I feel about you," He kept his voice down so his men wouldn't hear him.

Sen moved closer, until his body was pressed up against Sword's. "Remind me." He whispered.

"You already know," he whispered back.

Sen threaded a hand through Sword's hair. "Tell me again?" He pleaded, voice still a whisper.

"Why?"

"Because I need to hear you say it."

"I've already said it. Why do you need me to say it again?"

"Don't question it, please, just say it?"

"Why?"

"Because all we do is fight and argue, and... and then I wonder if I'm the only one who wants it to work..."

"You know you're not."

"Then say it, please? No one else will hear you."

"That's not true."

"No one else except me. If you whisper."

"How can you be sure?"

"Because everyone else is outside of the door." Sen replied, kissing Sword's cheek.

"Within earshot of us,"

"Not if you whisper really softly." Sen said with a smile.

"Why do you need to hear it so badly?"

"Please, just say it once? Okay?"

"Why?"

Sen hooked his arms over Sword's shoulders. "I just need to hear it."

"But why? It's not like it'll change anything."

"Please. It'll make me feel more at ease."

"I don't understand how..."

"You don't need to understand."

"Who says?"

"Me. Please Sword, just tell me how you feel about me. About us."

"Will you stop pestering me about it if I do?"

Sen gave a nod. "Mmhmm."

Sword rolled his eyes and gave a little groan as if he was being forced to do something against his will. He leaned forward and nipped at Sen's ear, "Aishteru....."

Sen gave a soft purr. "Was that really so hard?"

"Yes..."

Sen leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Sword's lips. "Well, thank you." He smiled. "I love ya too." He whispered softly against Sword's ear.

"Why do you need to hear it so badly?"

"To reassure me, that you haven't stopped and moved on without me."

"I haven't."

"Glad to hear it." Sen smiled and held onto Sword.
