Who: Sen & Ryuiki
When: Day
Where: Infirmary
What: Just talking
Rating: PG
Sen made his way to the infirmary. He'd been having trouble sleeping since Sword had been taken to solitary and he wanted to know if a doctor would give him anything to help. The doctor wasn't about but he caught sight of Ryuiki strapped to a bed. He frowned a little. He'd seen the little guy around in the library and hoped no harm had come to him. He walked over to him. "Having a tough time, kid?"
Jumpy as always the boys eyes snapped open and tensed up before remembering exactly where he was. "Ah..No. Not really...It's safer here I think..." He mumbled, looking around once again. He had seen Sen too, just was too afraid to talk to anyone.
Sen looked down at the boy's binded wrists. "Safer? From other people or from yourself?" He tilted his head. "I'm Sen. I've seen you. In the library."
"I'm Ryuiki, I've seen you everywhere." He says softly, ignoring the questing and sitting up a little, something about laying in bed and talking seemed rude to him.
Sen rests a hand on Ryuiki's chest. "No, no. Don't get up. Relax." He moved to sit in the chair. "I've got some time to kill if you want some company?"
He lays back down with the hand, smiling softly. "I would like that...it's too quiet here alone..." He did however steal a glance to the sleeping Sono, at least he could sleep fine here.
Sen pulled his knees up into the chair, chuckling a little. "Tell me about it. I hate this place. I've spent far too much time here." He rested his hands on his knees. "You're Japanese, right?"
He nods a couple of time, even so much as letting out a small laugh. "How's my English?"
"Very good. Are you self taught or did you learn somewhere?" Sen felt kind of strange speaking in his native language.
"Self taught." He says carefully, trying to remember if that was right or now. He couldn’t though. "I think."
"You're very good then. You speak very naturally. Which language do you prefer to speak in?"
"Japanese, English reminds me of where I am."
"The opposite of me then. Japanese reminds me too much of where I'm from." He chuckled soft. "But I don't mind so much. We can speak in Japanese if it makes you feel better."
He just shakes his head, smiling,. "English is okay."
Sen pointed at Ryuiki's wrists. "So, what happened?"
"Failed attempt." He says slowly, wondering how to tell him about Kashe...or if he even should.
Sen frowned. "I know this place is a dump, but it's not that bad. Find something to cling to and it gives you hope."
"I did." He says softly, looking at his feet as he wiggled them. "I didn't do this..."
Sen looked at him. "You didn't? Someone tried to kill you?"
He seems to puff up a little before blushing. "My...other personality."
Sen shifted a little in his seat. "Your other personality? You suffer from Schizophrenia?"
"I...I guess."
"You know, they have drugs to help with that?"
He just shrugs. "I...Would forget."
Sen reached out to pet the other's hair lightly. "Which personality is most dominant?"
"U-uhm...Kashe is the strong one...but I was here first..."
Sen continued to pet. "Kashe? That's your other personality? And he’s the one who hurt you?"
He nods a little, enjoying the feeling of being pet.
"Why would he do that? Surely hurting your body hurts him too?"
"I was sad, he thought it would be best for both of us if were weren't here anymore...He always gets hurt then lets me deal with it until it's gone."
"That doesn't seem very fair. At least you seem to be healing well."
