Who: Reno, Axel (Semi-Open?)
When: Late afternoon
Where: Chapel
What: A change in circumstances.
Rating: TBA
Reno had never known a fear of God. A hard life had taught him that it was power and death that controlled men-- not some almighty father. Where was God when he'd shot men in the heads in front of their families under company orders, or when he'd been tangled up in the sheets with his partner, knowing he'd probably never live past forty? There was nothing divine about that. It was just...
Real.
Of course, Reno had a bone or two he wanted to pick with reality at this point. He sat alone in the prison chapel-- a place where he would make sure there would be no unwanted eyes or ears-- leaning his slender body up against the back wall, eyes dark and thoughtful. There was the matter of Swordfish to deal with. Fortunately, Reno was a man with many connections, many options, and a smooth-talking mouth.
The stinging cuts in his hands were a reminder that his mouth could get him in trouble as well as out of it, though. He was waiting for his 'rescuer,' who he'd left a message with to meet him. They had business to discuss.

If he didn't get it this time, he could always just get on his knees.

"No problem. I may not look it, but I can swing a punch if I have to."

Damn he needed gel.
"Trust me, I wouldn't do that to save my own ass."
True, he wouldn't, but that didnt mean he wouldnt do it for other motives entirely. "Question--how did you get your hands on cash?"

Reno was a library assistant himself, but that was a long story-- he practically worked for the devil and probably hadn't read an entire book in his life. "Maybe you should, uh, look into being a barber, " he teased his companion. "See if it'll help you get your hands on some hair gel."

He had nothing else to say just yet.
